01 - Place garlic scapes, basil, pine nuts, Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, salt, and pepper into the bowl of a food processor. Pulse several times until the mixture is finely chopped.
02 - While the food processor is running, slowly drizzle in the olive oil through the feed tube. Blend continuously until the pesto reaches a smooth, spreadable consistency.
03 - Taste the pesto and adjust seasoning if necessary. Transfer the finished sauce to a jar or airtight container and refrigerate until ready to serve.
