01 - Place frozen banana slices, milk, unsweetened cocoa powder, creamy peanut butter, maple syrup or honey, vanilla extract, and salt into a blender.
02 - Process on high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
03 - Taste the blended mixture and add additional sweetener if desired. Blend again as needed.
04 - Pour the smoothie evenly into two glasses.
05 - Garnish with whipped cream, chocolate shavings, or crushed peanuts before serving, if desired.
